FoodIn the days before the sale, kitchens heat up and the cooking starts. Our sale has melded the sumptuous cooking traditions of both our "Pennsylvania Dutch" traditions and our southern home communities. People are well fed here!

Reunion

ReunionThere is a bit of reunion in the sale. In addition to carrying out the sale itself, the event is an opportunity for Mennonites from throughout the Southeast to gather to renew acquaintance, exchange news, and stay in touch.

Music

Hymn SingThere is a hymn sing Friday evening. Everyone is welcome to come and participate in this remarkable musical experience.

Exhibits

Booths in the exhibition hall will sell baked goods, crafts, and canned goods. Ten Thousand Villages will have a booth selling crafts and gifts from self-help projects arQuilt Demonstrationound the world. There will be a quilting demonstration to which anyone can add their efforts.

Auction

The highlight of the day is the auction. Woodcrafts and handicrafts in home furnishings range from small samplers and paintings by children to stunning wall hangings, comforters, and quilts whose intricate stitching represent countless hours. Some woAuctionnderful quilts from Mennonite and Amish quilters from other parts of the country will be donated by Mennonite Central Committee.

There will be items from $5.00 to several thousand dollars. It is an opportunity to get your Christmas shopping done early, to enhance your home with items of beauty, and to make a difference in a hurting world in the process.
